Guy off market place came last night to look at it. Gave me a deposit. I asked what he's putting it in. He tells me he's putting it in a Ford Ranger he's building for his girlfriend! He plans to leave it stock for now but eventually wants to turbo it. Kinda cool, definitely different.

Yeah. I think he's gonna have fitment issues length wise, but that's his problem.

No Ford is worth that. Lol. Maybe it’s a 70s Ranger full size? Kim

Easy boy. You're skatin. LOL Besides, why would anybody put a slant in a full size Ford when they already have the 300? Total badassary in a six.

Even though they all have cracked pistons?

I've seen a few in my time and never seen that. We actually put a pretty hot 300 in a 64 Falcon in high school auto shop class. That car was pretty snappy. It had the whole Clifford kit on it. I like them because of the cubes of course and the no timing chain thing. Not much to go wrong. Plus, being 4" bore means pistons are easy to come by.

The guy that bought my slant/904 had a rat rod with a 12V Cummins in it. The Cummins had blowby and the guy wanted to swap it out for the slant. He had planned to swap over the turbo and manifolds from the cummins. He said his friend was going to CNC some adapter plates for it.

I told him "good luck" as I was lowering the engine into his truck.
