422 leak down and compression numbers.

Well I wanted to rebuild this engine after three years run time and here I am on it’s fifth year. Never been shifted over 7000 rpm and has gone 5.98 in the 1/8 and 9.42 in the 1/4. 5-6 weeks ago the car lost about .05 in the sixty foot going from mid summer 1.28 to consistent 1.33 and running 6.13-6.23 on most passes. I built the powerglide transmission (my first) 4 years ago and put a fresh 5750 stall spragless Transmission Specialty’s converter in it. I kept blaming the loss on the 88-90 degrees that we have had every weekend but figured I better do some maintenance. Comp test and leak down numbers show number 6 cylinder down at 137 and 143 after a few squirts of transmission fluid in the cylinder. On the leak down it was leaking 22% and 16% after the fluid. The other cylinders were good especially being I run alcohol.
