I have some questions, may be dumb to some. I have a 1969 Dodge Dart swinger with 340 and 8 3/4 rear end with small bolt pattern, 5x4. From what I can tell I have 10x2 1/4 for the front and I from literature I think the rears are 10x1 3/4. Do both front and rear drums the same size? I can’t find any different drums than 10x2 1/4 drums. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

2 1/4" drums are 2 1/4". 1 1/4" drums are 1 1/4". Fronts are fronts and rear are rear and never will they mix. The only similarity is that they are both 10" diameter.

There was a bit of a panic a few years ago when 10 x 1-3/4 rear drums were momentarily out of production, due to a mix-up of superseded part numbers or something (you have probably noticed that many source's brake part listings for A-bodies are sketchy in several respects). But they are out there now, just some web listings haven't caught up yet. If you don't see them for your year and model, try another year or model with the same equipment: any Dodge or Plymouth A-body 1967-72 with a V8.

I bought every single part for my 72 340 Duster 8 3/4 rear from Rock Auto including new drums.

Bought two 10" rear drums for my 70 Dart 340 for $30.79 each, Centric part number 12363044(123.63044), from Rock Auto. Found them under 1971 Dart. They weren't listed under 1970 Dart even though they fit 65 to 72.
