Early to Late Tailpipes

Funny, I just ordered pipes from Accurate exhaust. I am removing my 2 1/2 header system and going with manifolds and stock sized out the back with tips. Pricey but the headers always scraped and I want a true stock type exhaust. The first setup was from torque tech, i saw they went out of business not too long ago. makes me wish I had invested in pipe benders. I think you just set the machine up and go like Midas used to be. there is a setup for each car ,you set the machine up and it bends the piece. Do think though that, you could make the pipes fit, with a few cuts etc. I have fitted more than a few exhaust setups to cars. It require patience and measure twice, cut once etc.

I'm sure the new machines are all computerized. Back when I was running exhaust, we used a card catalog system with cards that had measurements, degrees to spin the pipe in the machine as well as degrees of bend. Very simple system and worked very well. I'm sure there are still some out there.
