302 Heads on a 273

I would think you would lose compression ratio with the 302s. The 273 had rather small closed chambers. The correct head would be 920 IIRC. Unfortunately the supply of 920s is falling victim to cracks. When I was rebuilding my Commando the original heads and the first 3 replacements I found all had cracks. So I can understand what you're doing.
Yeah, 302's I have in the garage. And the point is to get the car moving rather than sit in the garage. Performance isn't really the issue right now.
