Oh man I love the Dippys! I actually prefer 4dr cars over 2dr and man if I could find a wagon reasonably priced I'd be in heaven!

My Uncle had a 72 Fury Sport wagon that he built a 512 stroker for and man did it get with the program!

Wagon yes, and 4 doors too, but really a diplomat? Sorry but just cuz it's a mopar....

Yeah I don't know if I want to do that, not crazy about the government tracking people like sheep. I found the guy with the Dippy via good old Google and left him a hardline message.

Here something for the old pros to sherlock, driver's side of engine block:
3870230-360-9

Passenger side engine block 4.18.74
there was also a UN and a big 6.
Anything special?

So I have this 408cui/425hp engine I built earlier this spring in hopes of finding anything rear wheel drive Mopar to stick it in. Problem is anything Mopar is stupid crazy expensive, even if it is door handle deep in dirt!

I have a chance to buy a super clean, low mile 81 Lincoln Mark 6 from the original owner. I've done research till my eyes bled and couldn't find a single person that has transplanted a small block Mopar in a Ford/Lincoln product.

Can anyone here tell me if it has been done and if so, what I will need for fabrication and parts?
Thank You, Ashton Blackwell
facebook marketplace ANOTHER CITY, like New Orleans, St. Louis, Houston, Dallas, Waco...Idaho, Dakota

Mopars are falling out of the sky (DURING CERTAIN times of year) in Texas
I have seen very nice project 1967 Cuda fastbacks and darts for $2500-$7000, 68,69 charger projects you could drive for $15,000; $18,000

if you want a deal, consider looking outside your backyard, and paying for shipping or driving to the hidden treasure

as for timing, opportunities are beginning to cool off as summer closes

as for motor mounts, cross reference 351 windsor & cleveland installs into the lincoln, it has been done, maybe documented on a forum like ours, perhaps comparing motor mounts & measuring 351 windsor vice LA block

Thanks for the information. I was really hoping to fit the 408 in the Lincoln but the guy's on this site were right, it would be a tough project to execute without some crazy fab skills.

I spoke to a old school gear head yesterday that said he has only seen one Mopar to Lincoln swap in his life and that was years ago down in Mexico. I have some good leads now so I'm just waiting for call backs.

I’ve got a pretty clean 1991 Honda Civic you could have cheap. Bare shell now and would be fun!
