This was posted on YouTube Aug 19 2020. Warning! hard to watch, but everyone should take it in. Some parents somewhere are in bitter grief over this..

Sobering, especially at the end when they show a video of the time of impact.

Damn.

I can't figure out why someone was "filming" that. Seemed like a handheld, as opposed to a "windy" security cam?

That was a V6 car. I wonder what a Hellcat would have done? Tragic.

Looked like either suicide or someone got in his lane while he was speeding, excessively, and he tried to whip in and out of the other lane and BLAMO....

He went right into the pillar. He must have flung in 2, at least his right leg came off when they went into the door jam and pillar as the motor/trans shoots like a pinball back and out the drivers side..

A gal did this in front of where I worked in 2011 iirr. She was going 100 in a jetta... went into the gutter to go by cars stopped at a red light. She caught the curb and went up, around a light pole..and right into another more reinforced pole that split her car, ripped her leg off, arm, and fire all around her. Died in seconds.
4 cyl.
Rate of speed is all it takes, not big hp.

Yeah... the Cuban witness said he was trying to avoid someone slowing to make a right turn in front of him. Huge damage. He may have been ejected? I didn't see blood on the car anywhere. RIP

Broom and a dust pan. Fortunately whoever it was, they didn't take any innocent bystanders with them.

A bit of a graphic mental image, no pics for obvious reasons.

My friend who used to be a cop, saw a motorcycle accident where a guy and his girlfriend were running from another cop. It ended with her dazed in a field, and the drivers spine stuck to the telephone pole he hit. She bounced off of him and tumbled pretty far into the field. His parts followed her "around" the poll. She used him as a cushion.

first thing that comes to my mind is that the "kid" who owned the yellow car lived around there, and had a tendency of flying through there
the person filming is a neighbor who is not impressed and has asked the kid a few times to calm down through there (or maybe they never met, who knows) but is now gathering evidence to take to the cops to get them to slow him down?

just a theory

on a side note
i lost a cougar to a similar situation once
i was driving home from work, in the fast lane and the joker in front of me wasnt going fast (enough)so i got in the slow lane to pass him
as i pulled into the slow lane, this joker pulled into the slow lane too
so o get annoyed, slammed her down a gear and swung back in the fast lane, under WOT of course
it was then i realized he hadnt come into the slow lane because he was jerk, but because there was a car in the fast lane waiting to turn to the left

at this point i was going to fast to stop so i tried to go in between and split the difference
i made it through, but then only panels on that car that didnt get damaged were the roof and the trunk lid

The video is cell phone recording his security camera monitor screen.
That guy owns that fenced yard , it's his business. If you look to the top left if you watch the whole video you can clearly see the time count date all the rest that would be on a security camera.

I'm sure we all have bloody tales, being an EMT for 3 years I've seen and heard plenty.

If I remember right, this took place south of me in Miami a couple years ago. It was on the news for a couple days.

Yup... too many things to run into, out on the streets, brick walls, polls, trees, other cars/trucks, or pillars.
I've done my fair share of stupid things, in my youth... it's a miracle I'm still here.
Street racing on dark, unfamiliar country roads, or passing in heavy traffic. Dumb!

I've seen worse come into the tow yard. We are contracted to pick up CHP fatalities in our county. Unfortunately, they have been happening more frequently in the past 6 months. People are driving like real morons around here lately.
My sister has even brought her teenagers by the shop. It's a real wake up call for them to see the aftermath. Then they kind of understand the possible consequences of their actions behind the wheel.
