What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Two things, one minor, other not so much. First, I put a new governor solenoid and transducer in the 48re trans in my 04 Ram 2500. When the governor solenoid is bad, the trans goes into limp mode, i.e., third gear with no overdrive and no lockup. The truck is parked outside, so I had to start at the crack of dawn this morning so I could finish before the Tallahassee August heat became unbearable. Finished by 11 am., took it on a long test drive after lunch, all was OK. Second, I put a spare tire, new tire board and new trunk mat in my 67 Barracuda coupe. I had been running the trunk completely empty, so had to find the long hold-down stud, wing nuts and cupped thingy, which took a while, but I did have them.
