I have been running solid motor mounts (Moroso solid biscuits) on my car for many many years, no issues. I do use a poly mount on the trans.

Edit: The only issue I have had is I do have to check bolts (starter bolts specifically) and such once a year, to make sure they are still tight. The vibration does tend to back some bolts out once in a while.

Now that you mention this^^^^I may be screwed.

My car had the JUNK spool Mount K member, so I bought Poly everything for it. I just switched it out for the 67-72 K member and now I’m going back to solids like I ran for YEARS.

The one thing I never did was use a solid rear mount. It may be possible the Poly Mount is too stiff (similar to a solid Mount) and that could cause a tail shaft failure.

I need to think about that and make some phone calls.
