Found A833

i have a 5.9 magnum swap with edelbrock LA heads and a more aggressive bumpstick(110LSA, 222/229 duration/ 509/512lift)
The 5.9 is a higher compression base to start from. The alloy heads would allow you to run a massive pressure boost, that with your modest cam, would make waaaaaaaaaaay more torque than your chassis could possibly handle in first gear, and waaaaaaaaaay more power than your tires could handle below the speed limit (in Manitoba being 65).

I know this because I had a 223/230/110 cam in a 360LA at 11/1 Scr/185psi pressure.
So, if you ever take yours apart for freshening...... pressure is funtastic.
While the gears are far apart in that A230, in your case you will hardly notice, because your engine-combo is right for it. Your first gear is a lil deeper than the A833, and your Second is a lil shallower. This is a great thing for your combo. Third is a lil far out there on the A230, but for a streeter, so what. Nine times out of ten, if you had an A833, you would be skipping third and shifting second to fourth anyway. If you can hit 60 at the top of second, where are you gonna go with an A833, that you are not already going to with your A230?
That lil 222 cam normaly power-peaks at around 4900 with iron heads, but with the Eddies and the 110LSA, you should be able to stretch it out to 5500 before the powerloss is noticed, I used to stretch mine to 7000,lol; Heck the tires were still spinning in second gear, so what's the big deal, I said.
Anyway, at 5200 say with 3.55s, your MPH with the A230 should be around 64mph so that's perfect. And you can stretch that to 70/75 if you have the valve springs to go there. So then you would shift to Direct in your A230. And if you had an A833? Well Direct as well, having skipped third. You already have the perfect trans for your combo, on the street. The only time an A833 would help you is for drag-racing, and/or, you might pick up a lil ET between 64 to 84mph .

I gotta tell you, my favorite combo was that size of cam, in my case 223/230/110 Hughes. in an LA 367 cuber. With hi-pressure, the bottom end was killer. The midrange was fierce, and the slow-down didn't come until waaaay past the speed-limit. And of the three cams I have run, that was the only one I could get into the 30s mpg, point to point, in steady-state cruising; Not a typo. I was very sad when it began dropping lobes right after an oil-change. Loss of ZDDP got it. My 68 Barracuda is at 3650 me in it, So I can only imagine what it's like in a Duster.
I ran that combo with a lot of different rear gears, a lot. My favorite was 3.23s, but it trapped better on paper with 3.55s, in the Eighth-Mile, so I have been running those ever since 2004ish.
BTW,
for a time, I ran the OD box with ratios of
3.09-1.67-1.00-.73od. splits of .54-.60-.73, compare to yours
2.95-1.83-1.00, and splits of .. .62-.55
Notice the A230 has a tighter 1-2split; just what you need, and a wider 2-3, just fine if yur geared right in second, who cares.
That od-box sucked, no matter what rear-gear I ran it with, and I tried almost all of them, lol.
It sucked even more after I replaced the failed 223 cam, with a 230/237/110. That box is currently sitting on the shelf with a lotta other parts that didn't work out for me,lol.
