I have a 1970 340 T/A engine complete from carbs to Pan and all original in excellent running condition. $12,000 firm no negotiation. The reason I said carbs to pan is I don’t believe the air cleaner is original but everything else is. The distributor may not be original which I didn’t think about that but yes that is probably true it’s probably been changed as the engine was transplanted into another car

Can you clean some of the paint off the VIN pad and post another photo please?

I have over 3,000 AARs and T/As recorded, so if the car it came out of still exists, I can check.

0B 305532 is a new number to me, but it would have come out of a Challenger T/A originally.

Thanks again!

If I do hear of the car at some point I can let you know.

Above the date on the engine block I know it's probably an optical illusion but does the head have a crack in it?? Just above the "6" in 69. I know I'm probably seeing things?? Thanks:thumbsup:

Yes, I was wondering about the blue paint at first.

I have a real T/A which I purchased in 1975, unfortunately the guy swapped the motor for a standard 340, no T/A engine so I would love to buy this. But I’m a old married guy and don’t have that kind of cash. It would be interesting though if mr Ellison could let me know what he needs to check if this motor was from my car originally. I have tracked down and installed a T/A top end into mine, but have no info on how to trace such things. I do have factory build sheet. Good luck, note that I paid $1,050 cash for my car in 1975 as a present to myself for my 18th birthday.

Very simple. The six numbers of the motor are 305532, does that match the last six of your vin?
