360 value...
When I look at an engine like that....I appreciate the value that it has as a 'complete' engine. But, I also recognize that if I were to actually use it, I'd end up replacing 80% of the parts anyway....so the value drops.
As others have said, if I were selling it, it would take me 8 months to find anyone who'd pay $75 in food stamps for it and I'd have to deliver it because they'd be too lame to own or borrow a truck. I'd have to take my engine hoist to unload it, too.
If I were buying it, I'd pay $1500, cash,and still smell the seller for 3 days afterwards. I'd also have to drive down some muddy-*** road, get bit by 200 mosquitoes, and get a speeding ticket on the way home.
