Resurrecting Mom's Duster

-
I was looking and maybe you have it posted and I missed it but what roller cam did you end up going with
I never pulled that trigger. I’m still using the Comp XE275HL. I disassembled and cleaned all the lifters and my valve noise all but disappeared. So I’m going to stick with it.

Ok not sure of the looks of it...
I put Super Stock springs and 275/60-15’s on it and it looked like a stink bug! *** all up in the air. Not a big fan of the look, so I cranked up the torsion bars just to see. Looks good from behind IMO but the profile has got me saying eh... what ya all think?

The springs will settle slightly, if you want to drop the rear about an inch buy the reverse front hangers (Mancini, I think) & then drop the nose 2-3 inches & it will look great IMHO.

Too high in the front. These cars are SUPPOSED to have that stinkbug look. And a hole in the hood for a tunnel ram or blower... :poke:

edit:
I love how all the smoke in the air made the light yellow, GREAT natural filter!

There is a slow developing storm brewing in the MD garage. Forecasted to hit in late December early January. Stay tuned for more details as this storm progresses.

You have plenty of oil pan clearance now.

Been busy tapping T-slot restrictors, moving IFR position, drilling emulsion stack and drilling lots of brass. Big shout out to @yellow rose for his knowledge and coaching. It’s all coming together nicely. Learning so much about the Holley design. Who’d have thunk that a month or so ago I had never used or taken apart a Holley carb. This has been a hoot! Looking forward to learning the tuning process.

@MomsDuster my engine combo is very similar to yours, was wondering if you'd bothered seeing what your MPG is? Yeah I know, big block mopar, who cares. I'm trying to decide on what size fuel cell to order to make sure I have at least a 250 mile range.
