One more reply about it...and I'll quit hijacking Doc's thread. :p I just went to You Tube and watched a guy chrome paint a crotch rocket fairing. He wasn't painting it.....he was HOSING the stuff on. More was dripping off than what looked like stuck! It turned out beautiful, and it took him 8 minutes from start to finish. I guess it must all be in the chemical reaction between coats.
