Stirring the pot

lets see some more pics of that '64...one of my favourites
^^Yes I agree! More. I love the early B bodies anyway!! I have no pics of my 64 Bel more door yet, I took it sorta a part when I got it home other day! lol
Why more doors? Sorta like the question, why a poly 318, why a stroker 361, why a turbo slant, why a wagon with fat tires, mags, hood scoop, and a honking engine and a 4 speed?
Why a Mopar when you can drive a Chevy Vega???? and still be different????? lol

I agree barbee,I have always liked different.
If not I'd drive a Camaro or Mustang. Not a fan of turn key late model stuff either.
Another more door that I drove all around the country.Nothing but fun !

No it's perfectly ok, I'm liking the more door stuff. I also like just reading the conversations LOL.
Just got back from the show, it was a low turnout because of cloudy skies and possibly covid but was still fun, aside from a couple inside jokes nobody actually gave me any grief.

I really like how you did the color scheme there. I admit I am not usually crazy about custom stuff, but not a pure purist either. That really look good!

Wow ! you just described my 64 BelvedereView attachment 1715586193

@Darter6 I had a 64 Belvedere wagon that was the same color and trim as your 64. I yanked the Poly and dropped a low mile 440/727 out of a 73 Chrysler Town and Country wagon in it. Added 11.75 Disc brakes, a front sway bar and LCA's from a 70 Roadrunner, and an 8 3/4 from the same Roadrunner to get rid of those goofy rear hubs, 3 point belts, and a brand X bench seat with an arm rest. I had Centerline Autodrags on it with 275/60-15's in the rear, 235/60-15's in front. Best riding car I ever had! Wife & I took it to the Turkey Run at Daytona around 2003. Good times! :)

Truth be told, I sent it to a friends body shop in PA.Was a one owner California car so no rust but many parking lot shots. The Tan color was the factory color.I wasn't expecting a 2 tone car and have no idea what the brown color came from. The guys there wanted to do something different and the car had brown/tan interior. Then they topped it off with a red pinstripe. Took it on the Hot Rod Power Tour and got plenty of positive comments. I sold the car to a 90 year old guy that bought it for his 58 year old son.I believe it is now some where in Massachusetts.

Yes I was making fun of GM and Vegas, but you are right, they made some light and fast racers. Yes you seldom see any Vegas left in the wild!!

You are much more polite than I would have been.

Get the hell off my property would likely have been the best of me they would enjoy.
