Generally once a year I'll put my car on the lift and go over everything. This year I found one flexplate bolt loose and bad shock on the front. I've had three bad shocks in four years. Even if I don't find anything it gives me peace of mind.

I use red locktite on my converter bolts so they usually hold tight plus I give them the old Millwright tug when tightening them. Hard to believe you can own a car over 10 years and race it weekly and still be doing upgrades but I am. Maybe one of this days I will get the cowl hood I want, new rear shocks, and rewire the whole car. Then some bodywork and paint it. I can do this type of work so thank God it won’t cost a fortune.
