This torque shaft was in the MOPAR parts lot that I picked up a while back. It does not have any part numbers on it and I would like to know what it fit's so I can put it up for sale. If anyone know for sure please let me know.
Thanks
Bob

It looks like the slant six version of this unit in various years of dodge trucks.

I'm almost ashamed to say I owned a 1968 Chevelle SS 396 many years ago. Sure looks like the Z bar for a big block//Muncie 4 speed.

I would be ashamed not to share that.

I would be proud to own one, it’s on my bucket list of cars to own.

I was Marine in Cherry Point, NC back in 1979. Used muscle cars were cheap back then and there. I bought my first 340 Dart back then. My current Dart Swinger 340 I currently and forever will own, reminds me of my years before a wife and children. I'll never sell this one, but my Chevelle was feared by the A6 pilots and MP's.

It's funny that you would bring that up, I have one more car to restore when I am done with this 68 Barracuda and it happens to be a 1968 Malibu SS 396 325HP column shift auto, air, manual brakes, sunflower yellow, black vinyl top, black interior. This car has been sitting in my brother in laws garage since the mid 70's and has not budged. It has stuff piled all over it so I really can't see just how bad it is. His health is not good and when he passes my nephew asked me if I wanted it to restore. AHH YES!

I had a chance to buy a 68 Chevelle SS 396 4sp in 1979 for $800 but passed on it because there was a dent in the quarter panel .

If you could only turn back the time!!! Oh well I have not come up with anything close to this torque shaft yet, I will just keep on searching. Why do they make parts with out part numbers?
