1969 engine VIN discussion

I thought some of the earlier 69 blocks had the complete vin stamped on them. Believe there was talk of that here on FABO sometime ago.

Blocks and transmissions to be installed in a 1969 and later cars no matter the casting date or build date were required by federal law to have the complete vin stamped on them...mistakes were sometimes made but the complete vin is supposed to be stamped
