You guys that have been in the service have some interesting stories for sure. Thanks all for your service. The draft stopped just around the time I turned 18 so I didn't go. I almost enlisted in the Navy. My stepdad was in for 6 years and the reserves after. He had some great stories to tell too. The late 50's were pretty uneventful though.
