Please pray for these lost souls

On May 30th of this year, I lost my youngest son to an accidental overdose. He had been "clean" for months, but after several setbacks in his life, he relapsed and overdosed. He was 32 and had a 12 year old son.

He was a good man, hard working and honest, and had many friends. He make a very bad decision and it hurt him.

A friend described what happened as a strong young man that was beaten by something stronger than him.

Last night, I attended a gathering of people that had lost loved ones to this epidemic. It was a large cross section of people from every social and economic background. I tell people that if it happened to us, it can happen to anyone.

I miss him.

My condolences to you for your loss. Amanda fought this addiction for several years. We sent her to many Rehabs but she would always gravitate to the friends that use. This time she got put in Jail for failure to appear and other issues and we all decided as a Family not to post bail ( very difficult decision ) She was in jail for 6 months and on the day they took her home they made the mistake of going back to work and leaving her alone. My Son-in -Law had a funny feeling and went back to check on her. She was already dead on the floor when he got to her. Not even the Narcan could save her. She had called and had delivered some ****** within 10 minutes of her Parents leaving. Like you I will take every chance to try to educate those that say" They could quit if they want".
