The USS Iowa is only a few miles from my house/brackett, on display in Long Beach. I'm ashamed to admit i havent been to tour it. I DID tour the NewJersey in (guessing) 1968 when it was on its way to Vietnam. Being on a battleship when it fired a 16" rifle (or 15, or 14, im not picky) was a huge get-to on my bucket list. I guess that wont ever happen.
