I did not think that finding what I wanted would be this hard, but getting a performance torque for a A518 with the lock up was trickier then I thought it would be. After using the search feature I ended up finding Edge Racing Converters. A lot of places do rebuilt stock units, or something that was not in the budget with prices of $1,000-$1,400, if they made anything at all. After an email to Andre at Edge, he recommended his Street Edge which had a billet cover, new stator, anti-balloon plates, full roller construction, and is furnace brazed. I later called him, and he is a wealth of information, as well as being a real Mopar nut. The unit will be a little under $600 shipped, which is more then I started out wanting to spend, but less then anything like it from any other brand I would trust. Just for the record, Coan, Dynamic, and Ultimate do not make a lock up converter. PAC, has a upgraded stocker ($500 ish), or a $1,350 unit. So, in the end I want to thank all those who contributed to treads that mentioned Edge Converters, it got pointed in the right direction. I should be ording in the next couple of weeks. :D

Andre at Edge has been doing my slant six racing converters for many years. I can't say if his converters are better then others, as I have never done a back to back comparison, but they work for me, and his customer service is second to none. As far as I know, Edge is the only converter company that will still build a early (1967 down) small pilot TQ, with the late (68 up) large splines for the 904. I have three of them.

Edge has a great reputation. Especially with the slant six guys. Keep us posted on how it works!
