Doesn’t matter which way the heater hoses are connected. It will work either way.

When charging, I charge till the low side on the compressor sweats. It helps to hose down the radiator to lower pressures and I put the Freon can in a bucket of hot water to raise th3 pressure in the can to get it all out.
