As the title says, I know a good bit of y'all live in Georgia and I missed the last meet and greet, any ideas welcome

I'm in Stone Mountain, I can do summit if that's what y'all want to do

Let this thread run for now and see what kind of dates and locations we come up with and then we can finalize a plan.

I'm up here in Mineral Bluff.
It's a long way to Summit from here, but I would like to do something like that.

Work!!!!! That’s a four letter word.

I know now I should have been a firefighter. My nextdoor neighbor and my back fence neighbor are both firefighters.

They work 24 hours on 48 hours off. One is also assistant County Coroner. Neither of them seem to be overworked, lol.

By the way, it's almost exactly 100 miles door to door from my house to Summit. This time I'll bring see if the better half will come with me.

Yeah this time we need to try and organize better. Maybe I’ll bring a bucket of chicken.

I alway dreamed as a retired guy that I could cruise through a half dozen states and drop in to visit other members. May be some day I will. Stop and pick up @memike along the way!

I’m down to show up at summit again. My car is torn apart still, if we push it out a little when the good fall weather hits who knows maybe I’ll get motivated to get it together just enough to drive the POS. Either way I’ll be there car or not.

I missed the last one.....and it was my idea. LOL I would be interested. But I'm not doing it until the weather cools off a little more and I yank the slant to do some maintenance on it. I have almost all the parts. It won't take long once I get them all.

I am up for it if Rob comes, this time in the trailer! Out of options this shitty year of 2020!

Or should I say, bring the car but in the trailer!

Any time in October is better than November. Think I will be in Florida all of November and the car the same.

Near the same for me. No issue Driving the distance, except the roads. If I go the back way It adds 20 each way. Just easier to trailer and dump and unload out back. I hate our interstates highways here!

This month works as well. Food can be brought to share!

October is best for me. My newly rebuilt Steer and Gear power steering box has a leaky pinion shaft seal.

When I called they said "we'll send you a prepaid postage label to send it back to replace the seal". And I said... thanks, but I'd rather not lift the engine to pull the box!!

So...they are sending me a new seal set and I'll replace it without pulling it.

Too bad it developed a leak, but awesome customer service!! I could have it done quickly if they send it out quickly.

I will probably have Vixen's engine fixed by sometime in October. We are going to yank the 170 and put rods and mains, timing chain set and an oil pump in it. It knocks pretty good on initial startup, so it needs bearings. This will buy me a lot of time so I won't have to rush the engine swap.

Meh, I think we should ban trailered cars at this event. Only cars driven in allowed.

:steering::steering::steering:

If that’s the way you want it! I will agree! Going to be a harder trip on the backroads but worth it I guess!

I think you drive, drag, trailer or just bring pictures if you want. Doesn’t matter to me. As long as we have something Mopar to talk about.
