If its the external bolt, heli coil is easy. i bet the bolt is too short, and 1/2 the threads are pulled out. Quick and dirty is a longer bolt and nut. I have had similar situations, and ground part of the nut to get it in line with the bolt.
I've "saved" many holes by running the same size tap deeper in the hole and using a longer, full-thread bolt.
The last one was two broken bolts on my '09 Charger engine mounts. You sometimes have to trim the bolt length or add washers to adjust the length.
