Yours was a later edition of the book in post 1...
I believe your edition still has the parts ID chapter, they eliminated that chapter in the later editions of that book... That's why I like the earlier editions better...
I too have an earlier copy at my shop. This I picked up because all the pages were stuck together on the first copy. LMOA!
Yes it has the in-valuable part number guides. This book has been quoted on here almost as many times as "what tires fit" LOL!.
