Did the A Body mopars with a factory A/C setup have 26 inch radiators regardless of /6 or V8
engines? Reason I ask is because I'm researching fan shrouds. I will need one eventually for my 75 Duster. Car came with a /6 from the factory with factory A/C. I haven't been able to find re manufactured ones just used ones. Thanks

you need the shroud that fits the radiator size your using. looks like you went 26" in the other thread. no one is repoping the A-body 26" shroud. the B & C body ones don't have the same offset. easiest thing is by a used one. i got a very nice condition one on here last month. ask for lots of pics.
good luck

I got a chance to look up in my parts book. 19" radiators came with slant 6's in all models and in 273/318's starting in 69 with heater delete or heater only. It looks like some applications with a/c or high altitude still used the 19" radiator but most used the 22" core for that. There again, generally speaking, All models with a V8 used the 22" radiator and those models with a/c got the 26" core but that depends on the model. For example, I see 71 E bodies with a 318 and no air getting the 26" core if ordered with N51 option. And of course, the performance packages like 440-6 and 426 Hemi's had the 26" radiator. All of these are generalizations. My book has 6 pages of radiator applications between 1962 and 1974. and how it was done is not etched in stone.

26” radiators were available in the A bodies starting in 1973. By 1974 the only options were a 19” or a 26” radiator in the A bodies.

Hello Thomas Dennis.
Here is a cool chart with some information that I found wile looking into replacements.
Mopar Restoration Heating Cooling|Restoration Parts|Jim's Auto Parts
No affiliation with the vendor and or correctness of the info.
It only show's S/B and B/B not 6 cyl.
Hope this helps you or any one else in any small way.
P/S remember the fallen on this special day.
Stay Safe....
Happy Mopar :)
Arron.
