Nice day to go for a drive, may as well fill the gas cans when out and about.

May even say hi to the Sweet Corn sellin' Ladies, they have great sweet corn they bring up from down by Rochester MN.

If you were here, today, you would "maybe" be able to see that first group of bushes across the street in the field And your truck would be "brown." LOL

Gas & Go

More stops to make, always someone comes up and wants to talk mopar trucks.

Guy says: You don't see many of these "Old 100s" around anymore.

Nice Chat

I can absolutely make a meal out of nothing but sweet corn on the cob. Cook some, eat it, if I want more, cook some more!
Gotta fill up some diesel cans today for a trip home too!

Coming out of Northfield after running a bunch of errands.

Had the 318/727 in second gear as I am heading out of town to keep the rrrs up. Coming by the John Deere Tractor Dealership, lots of guys I know that work there were standing out front of the office Bull Shitting leaning on cars.

Had some nice rrrs going on the engine, opened up the 4 bbls to let her really sing as I am going by.

What is not to love about these mopars ? Great day here at the end of the season.

Good Times . . .

With all the turmoil going on in the world, covid, political over the top unethicals, you name it.

So nice to have things that are enjoyable to do and good things to eat.

Yeah ! Go Mopars . . .

Thanks for the pics and the commentary. Looks like u had an awesome day. Kim

As locked down as everyone is with this covid thing, thought it would be fun to take everyone along for the ride.

We are on the right track here with all these cars, and the friendship that goes along with it . . .

Thank You, Thank You !

That looks like an excellent day! If the deal-killing smoke clears out over here I'm taking the Valiant to a nearby CL seller who has a dash I can salvage radio mounting sheet metal from to fix my hacked up dash.

I'm with you, I can eat corn on the cob till I explode. This is the time to be getting after that stuff.

What changed that you can tell that isn't a '79?
nothing specific...... the badge placement on the bed side and the general look of the truck made me think it was an earlier year.... no molding around the taillights.... smooth rear bumper instead of step style....... but mostly, I got lucky :D

Thanks for taking us along for your adventure.
My 5 year old grandaughter can eat alot of corn on the cob, she can eat 4 or 5 ears in one sitting.

Nice truck, I have had a bunch of them.
