1964 Valiant "Get Runnin & Drivin"

Pictures as promised. Note the about a solid 1/2" of sludge in the bottom of the pan. Got the rod and main bearings along with the timing set replaced. I've had enough for tonight so I am going to replace the oil pump tomorrow, clean the pan up and button it back up. This should add a lot of time to this engine, so I am not under the gun to do an engine swap. This way I can concentrate on getting it right instead of doing a rush job. Maybe another day or two of getting it back together and cleaning it up and it will be going back in.
