8.8 swap

I'm starting with the rear end because they're so cheap and plentiful. Gonna be driving around with an 8.8 behind a 170 until I build the swap motor. Can't hurt to grab the explorer driveshaft.
Yep I got two of them for 200 bucks. I used the short axle and the calipers and some other parts off the the extra one and still have an extra housing and diff if I ever need it. I may end up reusing the ring and pinion out of the spare one but will have to buy another carrier it is a open diff if I ever need to build the spare.
