Extreme clutch shudder

I would say "no" unless you have some problem related. Hell once I saw a guy got a Great Big piece of grit between the flywheel and crank and cocked the flywheel

Chatter......poor choice of clutch material, that is using some non-sprung agressive race disk in a street app, damaged spring assembly in the hub, oil on the disk, loose motor mounts, or something in the clutch linkage. Could even be some unforseen play in the rear suspension. I would guess it could be a defect / mechanical problem in the pressure plate assembly, but I would call that one "rare."
