Rookie question from a man of many Abodies.....how the hell does the horn ring come off??? I’ve had many abodies, all with the small center horn button, now my 70 Duster has the full chrome horn ring, and I don’t want to bust anything due to force! I would imagine it come off the same way as the small buttons, but I want to make sure! Twist clockwise????...counterclockwise???....pull??? It won’t budge! Any help would be appreciated, Thankyou in advance!!!

pull negative cable from battery and push in and turn it. it should be a bayonet type fitting.

Show a pic on the forum. If it's a full horn ring with the deluxe 3 spoke padded center, you have to remove the medallion from the center of the horn pad, and theres a bolt underneath. Pic below is the deluxe wheel horn ring. Notice no medallion installed and a center mounting hole for a single bolt.

I believe you push it down and turn counter clockwise.
