Sisal wheel is generally used for heavy cutting action with the black bar. If your trim is truly not scratched and you just want to reshine, I would try a spiral sewn wheel with red rouge then follow up with a stainless bar(usually blue or white) on a loose cotton wheel.
If its anodized, it is aluminum. To polish anodized aluminum you need to strip the anodizing off first. Some Lye and water solution makes quick work of it. Once its stripped and polished it will either need to be reanodized or will require maintenance polishing.
Be carefull, polishing trim can be very dangerous. Always wear gloves and I recommend long sleeves.
