Rear shocks rub the gas tank . I have to bend
tank lip up but are still very close. Driver side more so. No aliegnment issues , everything seems to be food. Anyone else have this problem

Yep. Same deal on my new after market tank.might have a 1/4 " between the rearend and fuel sender line.

Yeah, it's tight in there. Flatten the lip as much as you can, loosen up the strap and try to shift the tank as far away as you can, there is SOME play in there...

What tank. I had no issues with the long SS Mopar shocks. New spectra tank I think.

Not sure of car but my 66’ with SS springs and 8-3/4 rear the shocks are super close.
Tanks Inc fuel tank.

My 72 Demon- SS springs 8-3/4 rear factory original fuel tanks- super close to hitting.

if you can, lower the tank So you can push it away more. BUT you need to put something between the tank and sheet metal trunk floor or the straps will pull it back toward rear as they tighten up.
