I stumbled around the M-Body site to no avail. I need to part out this 82 Gran Fury. Can I drop the Engine and crossmember out of the bottom like my A-Body? I understand the lateral torsion bars and I think that would make it that much easier.

It ought to be easier with the FMJ’s T Bars than with a car eith the longitudinal bars. Will yiu be parting it out?

Yes, you can drop the entire K-Frame assembly by removing the upper control arms mounting “support” as that overhangs the outside of the frame rail.
I’d strongly suggest drilling a 1/8” hole in the frame rail, directly in line with each K-Frame bolt to soak the threads as to not “spin” the captured nuts.
Spray RustBuster or similar in there twice a day for a week or so. This makes removing the 4 K-Frame bolts so much easier.
It’s a “different” vibe and crowd on that site.....
