Vintage Drag Slot Cars

I remember when I was a kid we would walk by a hobby shop in East Atlanta. The HS guys would already be there. They had an oval track IIRC but I was fascinated by the drag strip. Most times my younger brother and I would stop in for a few minutes the fastest car there was a transparent green Willys or Ford, don't know which.
