I like both.
My car goes through the 1320 traps at 6200 in 3rd gear.
It goes through the 660 traps at 6200 in 2nd + overdrive.
In my opinion it takes a better car and a better driver to be good at 1/8th mile. There is no room to make up for mistakes. It's also easier on the car.
Levels the playing field quite a bit. Pipe racks use to win week after week at our local tracks but not anymore. And it has also taken people out of pipe racks and back into door cars. I prefer now...
