My goal was to have it pained for end of summer and it's close. Have finished body work and I have painted the inside of doors painted under the hood and trunk painted and the door jams. Last weekend I put a coat of paint on the inside of doors and painted dash, steering column and interior metal trim pieces.

Goal for my 66 barracuda for 2020 is to get all metal fab done and get her painted and back in my garage. What I have accomplished so far:
1. Shave bumper bolts, cut fogs into bumper, shave blinkers. Check.
2. Relocate fuel filler door/neck. Check.
3. Shave all trim around wheels, and shave antenna. Check.
Still to finish:
1. Tuck bumpers closer to body.
2. Through body exhaust.
3. Front grille metal fab.
Gonna be close but I’m working on it when I can.

Anybody reached their goals yet? I “kinda” got my new mufflers in, hopefully finish that up tomorrow or Sunday. Got the HDK disassembled to take to get powdercoated so there’s at least progress there. Haven’t done squat to improve the interior yet other than buy parts

I actually had to look mine up because I had completely forgotten what I had posted...
"
Step 1: Get new rear end
Step 2: Burn rubber in the 7.25 till it snaps (unless someone seems interested at that time to buy it)
Step 3: Swap in new rear end, slap on some new rubber
Step 4: Beat the living snot out of it
optional: Remove bench seat and install buckets
"
Since that post I got my 8.75 (currently rebuilding and looking for a posi unit) so step 1 done
Step 2 and 4 go hand in hand because since I got the 8.75 I have been going pedal to the metal almost every I can
the optional was actually done before anything else and I have buckets out of a '76 tradesman RV... not pretty but damn comfortable

Can you share overall car specs? Like cam gears etc. Please!
My friend/ engine guy built this 69 340 x head almost 5 years ago, we're still looking for the build sheet! Driving me nuts not remembering. Intake is a Mopar high rise. Holley 3310, Dougs Headers. Ive yet to go through the differential so have not decided on gears yet. Original 4spd has been rebuilt.

Those X-heads flow real nice!! I.have some on my 360 and they breathe pretty deep!:D also the 292 mopar cam and 3.91's out back also play a role in the mix!!

Good to know, I know my cam is pretty hot, hoping my friend finds the specs!

My goal "Was" to drive the 4 hours, south and over the Grapevine, to Spring Fling in Van Nuys....we all know how that turned out:(
But every cloud has a silver lining, right? I ended up finding a virgin RV 440 and putting the stroke to it..since there were no planned events happening for awhile I went ahead and pulled the previous 440 out of my car for the upgrade.
One thing I do want to get done before year's end, is fab up some subframe connectors to stiffen the chassis a bit better.
