Re: P/S--Must Be a Blind Hole
The bracket bolt on the inside of this Federal power steering pump looks to have had a plastic washer (see foto #1). To the best of my knowledge, such washers are used to "seal" something. Concerned about a future power steering fluid leak without an adequate seal there, I filled the reservoir half full and tipped the pump so that fluid could flow from the bolt hole (see foto #2). Nothing came out. Just putting that out there for future reference.
