Hey YR, do you have any thoughts or experience with the rattler style? I was reading somewhere that they are sometimes used in the aviation industry, and I know that the engineers in that field are a very conservative bunch.
As things stand at the moment, I am leaning towards the viscous fluid damper design as it seems to go easier on machinery.
