So, my new quarters for my 65 barracuda have the Antenna hole plugged/welded.
My question is:
Can I shove my Antenna up the A-Pillar into the roof and still get a fairly normal FM reception?

That’s the first I’ve heard about New quarters (Any year) even having an antenna hole welded closed or not. Factory always put the antenna (if equipped) on the right front fender - the only exception I’m aware of is the T/A or AAR
 
I bought an electronic antenna, it's a very small box that you can mount on the rear package tray.
 
What radio are you using?

I believe there are some other antennae options. I'd love to delete mine. I only stream music now in my dart via blue tooth

I have a blutooth kenwood and I don't use FM very often, I prefer the lil usb drives...

Oh, they're not New! Just new to me. They're patched, skim coated and primered whereas the ones on the car are beat, blistered and rusted!
