Yes, Doug has built many fast Slants and even has had books published on the Slant 6.
I raced with him for several years in the early 2000's.

Sorry to hear that. Doug is a slant mastermind over at slantsix.org I use to read all his tech forums when I had my slant six some years ago. Prayers for him and his family. I hope for a quick recovery and rebuild.

I hope he and his family are ok? Stuff can be replaced, but he/they will feel the shock for a long time.

Sorry to hear when bad things happen to good people. Doug is an amazing Slant 6 guru, one heck of a nice guy and a great family man. He built a slanty for me years ago when he lived in Sunnyvale. Prayers for him and his family on rebuilding better than ever.
