Rubber Pad on 8 3/4 Spring setup?

F,M,J and late B bodies were iso mount leafs, 1976 thru 88 anyways.
Big honkin pieces of steel wrapped around rubber pads with the leaf sandwiched inbetween and clamped to the axle.
7.25, and 8.25 rears.
