I just responded to my own post with an EDIT update. I wonder if the top tank was changed on my auto radiator at one time.
It seemed to be repaired or a few times repaired so it would make sense. The top tank is diffrent width than the 19" top tank I also have from 1966. Crap! so much for numbers matching show car.... time to tub and dub on airbags, the car is now worthless.
