Current Snell sticker pretty much mandatory for helmets. Gloves, eye coverings of one type or another, long sleeves which is dependent on promoter's requirements. Highly skid resistant clothing usually works as in leather jacket or motorcycle riding jacket. Keep in mind in case of a karting accident, get as far away from the kart as you can!
