Rubber Pad on 8 3/4 Spring setup?

Guys,

Here are the pics of my Rear Spring Assy. Jonn the pads on the right in your photo look like the right deal. The pad has a center button that centers through the shock mount. I was planning to replace my shock studs as they are bent by the PO who ran Air Shocks. While it was apart I was considering replacing these pads with a new or a steel block etc, as these look soft and old to me. I'm not sure what factory setup this is or is it cobbled to fit a 73 Dart?

I'm going to go with cobbled to fit, final answer:D

I've not seen any A bodies with original factory isolators on the leafs.
I didnt think they were used on any A's, but I sure dont know everything.

The rubber piece you describe sounds like one half of the F,M,J isolator.
Not designed to be used uncontained from squishing out wherever it wants when clamped.
Also it cant do much "isolating" of the axle from the leafs if its only on one side.
