Weight difference between glass and steel bumpers on 71 duster/scamp
Bumper are about 28 lbs. difference. I run fiberglass fenders, bolt on hood and bumpers. Swiss cheese the bumper brackets front and rear. Car weight is down to #3000 with no heater, no rear side window regulators, fuel cell, no spare tire well or tire, and lighter bucket seats. A lot of work went in to the front fiberglass to make it look like steel fenders.
