Rubber Pad on 8 3/4 Spring setup?

Just get rid of them, they never came from the factory on A-bodies and do more bad than good. I had a 1988 Chrysler 5th Avenue (M-body) with the full ISO-clamp setup, removed them and put in regular shock plates and it actually handled AND rode better, didn't feel like the rear end was flopping around when going over bumps anymore.

One of those terrible ideas from the 70s just like transverse torsion bars and super low-compression engines.
