I put a hundred "down" on this earlier this summer right after I broke my ribs, the registration was all hung up, so I told the guy "you get this straight, I'll buy it" This is a 58 Crestliner "Voyager" 14-15' and is what "I really wanted" all along, AKA lighter weight than the big heavy 16', taller sides than the 14' Sea King, and a stern / motor/ splash well. WAY more "safe" in waves with the stern protected. Old 40hp Johnson. I have some work to do, when I get better

I like it but far from perfect. Been painted "sloppy." And it needs some work. But it's way lighter than the 16 ft and the stern well is what I really wanted. I actually was thinking of building one into the 14' Sea King. This though is a better hull

That was built in Little Falls MN not far from me. I have a 12’ 58 crestliner Jet streak with a 59 35hp Merc. A bit scary especially since I can’t swim. Nice find

Kitty said you're gonna run outta room in your backyard.

Can't swim and have boat.. what's wrong with this picture :) ...... I also can't swim and used to go out on the lake with my brother to fish with a life jacket on. My brother used to say don't worry, if the jacket doesn't save you, I will.................. tell your wife you said goodbye. Nice boat ..

I'm not a boater guy but that's a dandy for a 58 model. That's not your last one, you'll be looking for a Mopar boat next. Powered by a 340 you know.

I made minor progress LOLOL. Yesterday the 12ft Sea King rowboat went down the road. That is the first boat I bought. Young guy and his son, they will get a lot of use out of. Young son looked very happy

Sometimes, buddy, I am damn sorry I started some of this LOL. Last night a guy called and sounds pretty excited about the big 16ft. That was a mistake, I should have known it was just too big to deal with

Looks like a fun hobby. Just like cars. A friend has a mahogany Century (I believe) with a Cadillac under the hood. Yes, it can be a disease. LOL

That was a very cool boat, Del. I am sure they'll be happy with it.

THOUGHT I had the 14' Sea King sold, 2 guys came and looked and after they left I figure they might have just been looking for 'something to do' AKA = waste of time.

I even got the 1959 trailer as well., love it, Feather Light roundabout speed boat

Got the "new boat' in the back yard today. There is no steering. Someone stripped it out who knows what they were doing "fix it up." The paint actually sucks, I don't care. I'm going to try and get steering in the thing and go for a ride before the wx goes to heck. We are on borrowed time here. It has been one hell of a long hot dry summer, and we are way overdue. I expect "the rains" any time. Don't have much time, this Sat temps and wx is going to suck

Big issue is still my ribs and right behind, my back. And trying to recover has left me very much weakened and out of shape. I can't work very long or very hard, and trying to get "under the dash" etc is very difficult. REALLY slows things down.
