Let's see your custom fabrications

I see some commendable imagination and talent in all these creations. I love looking at these things to spark ideas for my own use.

Making a few different from stock changes to my 66 barracuda currently. Nothing crazy or as high end as some stuff here but I’m happy with it for my first time trying any of this..

Working on custom grille, and through body exhaust at the moment. Sorry for all the pics!!

This ones pretty minor compared to a lot of the stuff here but I was super happy with how it turned out. I wanted an aftermarket tach but didn’t want it on the column, under the dash or drill holes in the dash pad. So I cut the column mount and modified it to use the lower a-pillar trim screw.

Homemade radiator fan shroud using pocket tee shirt, fiberglass, JB weld, and 19 gage steel sheetmetal
Fiberglass is something I have no clue how to do but always wanted to learn.

Seeing all the posts has reminded me of all the other things I have made. When I bought my Ram, it had an aftermarket dash to support a 2-din radio but was missing the radio and mounts for it. I wasn't about to spend $40 for the radio kit when all I needed were mounting brackets so I fabbed my own.

Here's something I did with my soldiers, it was going to be a stand for our guidon flag. Commander wanted something different that stood out and made other units question their basic stands. I got out shortly before it was completed and was unfortunately told a new commander came in and scrapped our project. It ended up in recycling I heard and that pissed me off!
